Many Las Vegas hotels - Paris Las Vegas was among the first - go out of their way to cater to LGBT clientele, with packages and special offers that can even include commitment ceremonies. At Wynn and Encore, they have a Pride Concierge - dedicated specifically to helping LGBT guests make the most of their time in Vegas. Not that you'll need much help when there's something fabulous around every corner.
Of course, you can't do Gay Vegas without hitting the "Fruit Loop." This popular area just south of the Hard Rock Hotel on Paradise Road is home to the FreeZone, the Buffalo, Gipsy, Piranha Nightclub and 8 ½ Ultra Lounge. Another can't-miss gay nightclub is Krave, located in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood (Enter off of Harmon outside the Miracle Mile entrance doors.)
In summer months, the parties move outside to the pool. Sexy boys and girls are flocking to the LGBT pool parties offered at The Mirage, Luxor and Rumor on certain nights of the week.
Of course, there's more to life than partying. You've got an eye for the finer things in life and Las Vegas is certainly up to the challenge. The public art on display at CityCenter includes masterworks from Maya Lin, Nancy Rubins and Claes Oldenburg. And right next door at The Cosmopolitan, street artists like Shepard Fairey were commissioned to paint different floors of the underground parking garage.
One thing that's not underground is the amazing dining and shopping found up and down the Strip that round out any perfect getaway. Come wear your colors proudly in Vegas.
